MEET KATIE AT OUR RHINEBECK, NY STORE!
Katie, a Rosendale local, has been part of our little store since we opened our doors on September 12th. With a background in painting and footwear, including time spent working at a local shoe shop, we love the coincidence that our store was once a shoe shop too and the our Founder started her career designing shoes!
We caught up with Katie and asker her to share a few of favorite pieces currently in store...
THE JOY OF SELF EXPRESSION...
"I love watching people try on and react to Namai pieces! It's so exciting because when people try on our jackets, they're also discovering things about themself. It's an act of self expression to choose something so completely unique!"
"I express myself through my large collection of vintage clothing! I’ve always been a dress up kid. I used to play in the dirt with a tutu on! I love having a closet full of statement pieces and choosing what makes me feel most ME that day!
A LIFE IN FULL COLOR...
"Color and creativity are a huge part of my daily life as an artist. I'm constantly figuring out how different colors work together whether they're clashing or complimenting each other. My closest and my apartment are washed in vibrant colors that bring me joy! I even painted my stairs different colors and my bedroom door striped!"
A HUDSON VALLEY FALL...
"My favorite thing about Fall is hiking in the Hudson Valley! There is nothing more beautiful than walking in a secluded spot and watching the leaves fall gently around you. My friends also through a Fall Fest event every year where everyone gathers and plays music all day! It's so much fun to watch my talented friends against the back drop of the Shawangunk Mountains."
