The Ladhiya Jacket features a relaxed fit and the hem hits slightly below the hip for most people. The sleeves are designed to be rolled, and there are pockets on both sides.
The Ladhiya Jacket is fully reversible, with finished interiors and functional pockets on both sides — giving you two distinct jackets in one. Each piece is made from a vintage Kantha quilt hand-stitched decades ago, so no two jackets share the same layout, stitching, or color story.
Clean bias binding, rollable sleeves, and coconut shell buttons add everyday practicality, while the one-of-one construction offers individuality you won’t find in mass-produced women’s quilted jackets or printed patchwork jacket styles.
Because each jacket is made from a different vintage Kantha quilt, the thickness and hand-feel naturally vary—some quilts feel lighter and more relaxed, while others have a slightly more structured feel.

Yes. Each Ladhiya Jacket is cut from a single vintage Kantha quilt stitched by artisans in Jaipur. The quilt’s texture, stitching patterns, fading, repairs, and color placement are unique to that individual textile.
Namai photographs every jacket individually, so the piece you see is the exact one you receive — never duplicated and never reproduced.
The Ladhiya can be machine washed on a delicate cycle using cold water and mild detergent, then laid flat to dry. Namai machine-washes every jacket before photographing and shipping it to ensure there are no changes to the fabric after washing.
Because the quilts are vintage, gentle signs of age — like fading, small repairs, or texture variations — are expected and part of the textile’s character. Namai also offers lifetime repairs to help keep your jacket in long-term rotation.
The Ladhiya is not printed, batch-produced, or replicated. It’s made from genuine vintage Kantha quilts using heritage stitching techniques, then photographed and sold as a single, distinct piece.
Rather than trend-based “sustainable clothing,” the Ladhiya offers real provenance, artisan craft, and one-of-one individuality — qualities mass-market quilted coats can’t replicate.
