The Ladhiya Jacket features a relaxed fit and the hem hits slightly below the hip for most people. The sleeves are designed to be rolled, and there are pockets on both sides.
The Ladhiya is the original Namai jacket design. It sits roughly at the hip, is made from recycled kantha quilts, and is fully reversible.
The Ladhiya is designed to be seasonless and worn at anytime. The relaxed fit and spacious sleeves make it perfect for layering over a warm sweater or hoodie in the cooler months or on it's own as a light layer as the temperature cools on Summer nights. Note that as each jacket is made from a different vintage Kantha quilt, the thickness and hand-feel of each jacket will vary.

The Ladhiya is very versatile and looks great styled down as your everyday, go to jacket over a pair of jeans and a tee or as a statement piece worn with a skirt and some heels. It is made to be styled with the sleeves rolled, to accentuate the reversible design.

Yes! Every jacket is made from vintage, kantha quilts and no two share the exact same colors, design elements or history. Each jacket is truly unique and there will never be another one exactly like it.
The Ladhiya has an easy, relaxed to fit designed to suit a wide range of sizes (roughly women’s XS–L). The shape is comfortable, with room to layer and sleeves that can be rolled to adjust length.

The different names indicate the type of quilt this jacket was made from. Patchwork: Kantha quilts arranged to create colorblock designs. Suzani Embroidery: Kantha quilts with intricate, wool designs stitched over the top. Indigo: Kantha quilts that feature mud resist motifs dyed with plant based dyes.
If you love the Ladhiya's style but are looking for a smaller fit without going cropped, we have two great options. The Ladhiya Petite Jacket is designed with a smaller frame and shorter sleeves. Alternatively, the Ladhiya Denim Jacket in size Small offers a similar look with a slightly more fitted feel.
