Every Namai piece begins with a story — and for our new Recycled Silk Collection, that story begins with our founder Bianca traveling to India to work closely with the artisans who help bring her visions to life.
The design process began with Bianca searching through a large collection of antique saris and hand-selecting each piece based on colour, print and character.
Once the saris were chosen, the next step was colour curation. Bianca carefully organized them into harmonious colourways and design combinations—balancing bold patterns with softer palettes, and mixing rich jewel tones with more subtle neutrals.
Finally, the saris were handed over to our talented artisans who crafted them into our beautiful Recycled Silk Collection of pants and dresses. Every piece in this collection is one-of-a-kind, not only because of its recycled nature but because of the hands and hearts that went into creating them.
