We love hand knitted statement sweaters! And we LOVE the ones designed by Lindsey Degen, the creative force behind Degen. In honour of the launch of these three incredible sweaters on our site, we did a little studio shoot. to show you how we style them.

I'm Bianca, the founder of Namai. When I'm not having fun writing these emails, I'm designing new products (slowly),  taking photos, managing the business, and dreaming up new places for us to pop up and meet you!

Bianca: This Fall has me cooking spaghetti squash almost every week (I grew some of my own this summer!). I load them up with feta and tomatoes and loads of garlic and salt, or just throw a few garlic cloves, olive oil and black pepper in the centre and bake. I like them cold the next day too.

I love this sweater because its a statement piece, bold graphic and fun, whilst also being made of the highest quality natural wool. As soon as I put it on I felt like I'd always had it in my closet because it goes with everything I own.

Meet Lauren, our new Studio Assistant. She joined us a couple weeks ago, and is in charge of all things shipping, laundry and packing related, and is also helping us with our tik-tok page as she's a social media expert!

Lauren: My favorite fall activity is apple picking - especially Jonagolds. There's something about the crisp air and finding the perfect apple that makes Fall feel complete.

I can imagine wearing this sweater in my favorite park, surrounded by Fall leaves, sipping a hot chai and soaking in the season

Zosia is our Product Manager... On any given day you'll catch her mending a beloved piece, sewing labels onto new arrivals (yes nearly everything is washed and labelled here in our studio) and creating patterns for new styles.

Zosia: When the air gets crisp there’s nothing better than sitting around a fire with your friends. Throw in some s’mores and warm drinks and it’s an amazing fall evening.

My favorite fall recipe to cook is roasted butternut squash and brussels sprouts, with cranberries and pumpkin seeds. This is my go to for fall potlucks, it’s easy to make and I like that the cranberries and squash give it a bit of sweetness.

This sweater is made from incredibly soft alpaca, it’s very warm and still lightweight. And just the right shade of blue.

Alanah is our Studio Manager. She takes care of our wholesale accounts including doing trade shows and organizing trunk shows, answers customer care emails, works on our Journal and Pinterest and much more...

Alanah: Going for hikes in Fall is my absolute favourite activity. I love watching my puppy playing in all of the fallen leaves - she finds endless joy crunching around and getting lost in them.

I don't cook it but my partner's butternut squash soup is my favorite Fall recipe to have cooked for me! It is so cozy and truly marks the start of the season.

I like this sweater because it has a lot of character without being difficult to imagine styling with a lot of my wardrobe.
