SPRING WEATHER IS HERE, TIME FOR SOME NEW STUDIO FITS!
WE PICKED OUR FAVORITE PIECES AND STYLED THEM BACK TO OUR BASICS.
BIANCA: I'm obsessed with stripes right now! Recently I found this blue and white striped vintage t-shirt whilst hunting for inspiration in Willamsburg, and it goes with everything! I think it's perfect with the blue Janus pant and this pink Ladhiya Jacket that has striped binding. I feel just the right side of artsy eccentric, and love how the classic Breton stripe grounds the outfit in reality.
ZOSIA: I chose the purple Ladhiya Jacket because it brings out the green in my eyes. I would wear it to a dinner date with my boyfriend at Gaskins, it’s one of my favorite restaurants upstate NY.
ALANAH: I have been thinking about this Ladhiya Jacket ever since I photographed it for the website. The patches with flowers inside of clouds makes me think of daydreaming in warmer weather. And topped off with the Pink Janus pants… I really couldn’t imagine being unhappy while wearing that combo
ALANAH- CREATIVE PRACTICES OUTSIDE OF NAMAI?
When I’m not at Namai my focus is as an actor.
My love for, interest in, and inspiration when acting is always storytelling. I believe it’s so vital to the human experience. It’s how we connect, how we feel seen and can begin to see others more fully.
Right now I’m listening to the podcasts Starving Artist and Audrey Helps Actors. A little niche, but they’re both essentially geared at demystifying creative careers.
ALANAH- I picked this crop because I really am an earth tone gal through and through. It makes me feel one with my surroundings upstate NY.
ZOSIA- I chose this Kaira because it had many great, bold colors. I would wear it to an outdoor concert. It’s really stylish and it would keep me warm on a cool spring evening.

I’m always doing something with my hands. I’m currently making a ring for a good friend. She has an heirloom amethyst from her grandmother, which a friend brought back from India. First I’m carving it in wax and then using the lost wax casting method to cast it in sterling silver. I’m honored she chose me to make it and I can’t wait to see it finished.
ZOSIA: I love using the Libby app! You connect your library card to it, and listen and read all the books you want for free. I listen to a huge amount of audiobooks while sewing for Namai. A great book helps me focus and makes the time fly. Currently I’m listening to a thriller - The House in the Pines by Ana Reyes.
BIANCA: We just dropped some new Xoti Tote bags, and these ones spoke to me because of their fun bright colours. The tote bags are made out of scraps from the Jackets, and I actually kept the Jacket made from the centre tote bag, because I love the travel themed print so much!

I started knitting a few months ago and I love it! I knitted a super long, colorful and cosy scarf and know I'm knitting a neck warmer and some washcloths. I love having something to do with my hands in the evening, and I change wool and colors constantly to keep up my motivation, so I'm driven to see how the next color will come out. I find it's amazing at turning my mood around when I'm feeling stressed, and love doing it while traveling to pass the time.
