The Gita Jacket features an oversized fit and the hem hits slightly below the hip. There are no buttons, allowing the jacket to hang in a relaxed way. Designed with short-sleeves, a detachable belts and large oversized pockets
The Gita is our short sleeve jacket style with a detachable tie-waist strap, making it the most versatile and warm-weather friendly of our Kantha jacket designs. The buttonless opening and detachable strap let you wear it open and relaxed or tied at the waist for a more defined silhouette. It is a great option if you want the character of a vintage Kantha quilt in a lighter, more seasonal style.
The Gita is designed with warmer months in mind but can be worn year-round as a lighter layer. The short sleeves make it a perfect throw-on for spring and summer, and it works beautifully as an extra layer on cool evenings or in air conditioned spaces.
