We're a team of three now in our little Mountaindale, NY studio, and thought it would be fun to introduce ourselves a little and show you our favorite pieces of the moment.
Alanah is our Studio Manager. She writes and posts blogs, manages customer care, takes care of wholesale stockists, product photography, and many more things and besides, is an all around rock star!
What inspires you?
The little day to day moments. I am a naturally curious and observant person so I'm always allowing seemingly mundane things I see to inspire whole stories in my head.
What's getting your ears and eyes at the moment?
I'm big into winter comfort activities so right now I have been watching The X-Files exclusively and listening to a lot of Maya Hawke.
Favourite Namai style?
Normally I would be Ishani all the way but I have started to get into the Vests in a BIG way

Zosia Manages Quality Control and Finishing. She makes repairs with fun creative emroidery and patches, hand sews labels on and generally lends her exacting eye to making sure everything looks awesome!
What do you do for fun on the Weekends?
Driving around the Catskills and exploring new small towns and exploring new small towns and restaurants.
What's your January Podcast Recommendation?
Huberman Lab - it's a science based podcast for non-sciences folks. Lots of interesting information about your body and mind that will help you improve your daily life.
Favourite thing to make on a cold night?
Finnish Salmon Soup (Lohikeitto) - it's the perfect winter and very easy to make.

Bianca is our Founder and Creative Director. When she's not excitedly looking through hundreds of vintage kantha quilts to find the perfect pieces, she can be found meeting folks at markets and trade-shows, designing new pieces, managing social media and emails, and getting excited for the new season ahead.
What inspired you recently?
I just finished reading "Wild" by Cheryl Strayed for the first time, and it's making me want to do a mini version! I've always wanted to do a multi day hike and experience both the natural beauty and the feeling of pushing my physical limits.
What's getting you grooving?
The other night while unpacking boxes of new jackets, I started listening to an old favorite Cheb Mami record, and started dancing around the studio singing loudly. Joy!
What makes you laugh?
My dog, Cosmo, a mini Australian Shepherd, makes me laugh all the time with his antics and melodrama.
